DUTIES: give Specialized Support to Aviation Appeal Committee. give Secretariat services to the Aviation Appeal Committee which include, organising venue, refreshments and parking, attendance of meetings to record proceedings and opinions, briefing the Committee on each issue, and announcement of interested parties of opinions taken at meetings material to them. collect Appeal documents for the Aviation Appeal Committee. Processing of the Committee Members’ remuneration and follow up on payment finalisation and arrange for claims of trip subsistence. help in managing the actuality of the Aviation Appeal Committee and insure compliance with statutory scores. help in icing compliance with departmental processes as well as the PFMA in the appointment of advisers to render services to the Aviation Appeal Committee, including completion of tender specifications and carrying all blessings. exploration on matters as requested by the Aviation Appeal Committee and give input on matters relating to the Aviation Appeal Committee. give Technical Support to Safety Review Panel.
Give Secretariat services to the Safety Review Panel( SRP) which includes assignation to Panel Members, arrangement of venue, refreshments and parking. Distribution of docket, accident and incident disquisition reports and applicable attestation to the SRP. Attendance of SRP meetings to record proceedings and opinions, make briefing to the Panel and drafting of twinkles after meetings. Maintain records of protestation of Interest forms by the Panel Members. help in managing the actuality of the SRP and insure compliance with statutory scores. help in icing compliance with departmental processes as well as the PFMA in the appointment of advisers to render services to the SRP, including completion of tender specifications and carrying blessings. exploration on matters as requested by the SRP. share in Forums dealing with Aviation Safety. share in public, indigenous and transnational forums dealing with aeronautics safety. share in the development, correction and review of Civil Aviation Regulations. share in Civil Aviation Regulations Committee,Sub-committees and Workgroups meetings relating to aeronautics safety.
International Civil Aviation Organization( ICAO) and the South African Civil Aviation Authority on matters related to aeronautics safety. give input and feedback to ICAO on matters dealing with aeronautics safety. Attend interdepartmental working groups on matters dealing with aeronautics safety. Monitor South Africa’s compliance with its transnational scores relating to civil aeronautics safety. Draft memoranda, cessions, reports and Cabinet Memo regarding aeronautics safety issues. Draft memo for the submission of aircraft accident and incidents examinations reports. help in covering the perpetration of Safety Recommendations expiring from aircraft accident and incidents examinations reports. share in State Safety Programme meetings and liaise with aeronautics stakeholders.
share in indigenous and public assiduity shops on safety operation system as well other safety related forums and give feedback on the outgrowth of meetings attended. Handle enquiries relating to aeronautics safety matters and liaise with legal services and public storeroom for blessing of emendations to regulations. share in design brigades to achieve a multidisciplinary approach to meet set objects of the Department.
